Did you know?
Fitting Bradford Enviroseal Wall Wrap to your home gives you added benefits after construction, as well as during construction.
But first, just what is an Enviroseal Wall Wrap? Suitable for all construction types, Enviroseal Wall Wrap is a vapour-permeable construction fabric that is fitted around your home as an additional layer of protection.
During construction, Enviroseal protects your building structure from the elements by shielding the frame and floor from water damage before brick walls and cladding are installed. Additionally, that layer of protection can improve on-site workflow efficiency, by allowing internal trades to start working on the interior of the home sooner.
After construction, the high vapour permeability of the wrap enables moisture to escape the inside of the home. This controlled escape of moisture from within the building structure reduces the risk of condensation inside the wall, which can lead to damaging mould growth. With water vapour safely passing through – and condensing on the outside of the wall instead of the inside – the risk of wall stains and decay is also greatly reduced.
Acting as a second skin, Enviroseal Wall Wrap can also increase the efficiency of your insulation. Wrapping your home reduces air infiltration and draughts through the wall frame, restricting airflow around insulation batts and keeping you warmer in winter or cooler in summer.
Playing a key role in maintaining a healthy and efficient home, Enviroseal was a must have inclusion for the Contestants on The Block. Plus, by being quick and easy to install, this helped the teams while under strict time deadlines.
