This week was the final The Block reveal for 2021! With all the internals of each home completed, the Blockheads focused on the outside of their homes.
In this final week, front yards and facades were in the spotlight. It was a big push to the finish line for the contestants, with plenty of setbacks and issues along the way.
With auction day looming, each team finished their work in the nick of time. Emotions were high for contestants as they completed their time on The Block. It was Mitch and Mark who had an added skip in their step as they won this week’s reveal with their beautiful, family-friendly outdoor space.
Mitch and Mark garnered plenty of praise from the judges as they assessed their work. Their winning outdoor space included a picture-perfect white picket fence, trampoline, cubby house, and a circle seat around the Liquidambar tree. Together, these elements helped bring Mitch and Mark’s vision of a place of tranquillity and magical wonder to life.
With their home design utilising a metal roof, Enviroseal HTS Roof Sarking was fitted as an additional layer of protection to minimise weather-related water damage caused by wind-driven rain entering the roof cavity. Enviroseal also reduces the risk of condensation by allowing water vapour to easily pass through and exit the roof cavity, resulting in a healthy home through limiting mould growth.
To get the maximum performance out of your metal roof, Bradford Anticon Roof Insulation can be fitted to enhance your comfort and keep your home in top condition. While aiding in reducing the risk of condensation build-up, Anticon also increases the acoustic and thermal qualities of your roof. It also means you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your roof insulation is made from non-combustible fibres, keeping your home quieter, more comfortable, and safer.
