Garages, studies, and wine cellars were on the agenda this week on The Block, as well as the challenge of finishing the interior of their homes. With so much to do, there was little drama, arguments, or body corporate meetings. Instead, the Blockheads focused on painting, cleaning, and styling.
At the reveal, judges’ reactions were mixed. In the end it was Ronnie and Georgia who were declared this week’s winners! Their gamble to finish off seven spaces in time for judging paid off, with key features in each room inviting high praise from the judges. With smart lighting highlighting its curves, the highest praise was given to the architectural-designed spiral staircase.
Another star feature was their wine cellar flooring. Using East Hampton PGH brick facings, the judges were taken back by the rustic look of Ronnie and Georgia’s cellar flooring. Judge Shaynna even noted that she felt like she’d been transported to France.
With the space also flowing into the home theatre, judges were pleased to see a large sliding door and wall fitted with Bradford SoundScreen acoustic insulation separating the two rooms. Judge Darren was very impressed, noting, “you’ve got privacy acoustically and physically, I love that”.
Ronnie and Georgia also used SoundScreen acoustic insulation by Bradford for their fourth bedroom/study area. Looking out onto the pool, the relaxing and calming space employs SoundScreen to create a peaceful and quiet environment. So, whether you are creating a home office space for working from home, or a quiet room to rest, Bradford SoundScreen will make your room quiet and comfortable.
